There will be a WC/WCX test this fall. It will be held on Sat Oct 4th at Greenleaf Farms in Monroe, WA. This year it will be sponsored by the Evergreen Golden Retriever Club.

It's time to start thinking about elections. If there is a position you would be interested in running for, please let me know. It would be nice to have some new input on how better to run the club. Any and all suggestions are welcome. We can't be a club without your support. We will be having elections at the annual banquet in January at the Puyallup Show.

We held a fun day on Sat. Aug 23rd for the club members. It was a small but nice turn out of about 20 dogs and people. It was nice meeting some of the people and their dogs. This year Sheila Bradsahw did a great job of finding us a nice place where the dogs could play on agility equip. run around and go wading in the kiddie pool. Sheila also came up with the idea to give, gold, silver and bronze awards, as in the Olympics, to the winners of the games we played. Thanks to Sheila for organizing this event, you did a great job.

Thanks to all who came. Special thanks to Gary for being the BBQ man, he did a great job even though it was a little warmer then we would have liked.

Well it won't be long before the hunters in our club will be looking forward to the first bird hunts of the season. May you be successful in your hunts and stay safe for both you and your best hunting buddies
